![]() | Professor Fushuan Wen IEEE Fellow, Zhejiang University, China Fushuan Wen (SM'17) received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a Full Professor and the Director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the Director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. He was a university distinguished Professor, the Deputy Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and the Director of the Institute of Power Economics and Electricity Markets in South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, from 2005 to 2009. From May 2014 to May 2017, he was a Professor with Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Brunei. His research interests lie in power industry restructuring, power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and restoration strategies, as well as smart grids and electric vehicles. Prof. Wen is an Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER SYSTEMS and the IEEE POWER ENGINEERING LETTERS, a subject editor on power system economics of the IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution, the Journal of Energy Engineering (ASCE), and the Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (Springer). |

Balas received the Ph.D. degree in applied electronics and telecommunications from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. She is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Automatics and Applied Software, Faculty of Engineering, Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania. She is also the Director of the Intelligent Systems Research Centre, Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad. She is an author of more than 250 research articles in refereed journals and international conferences. Her research interests are in intelligent systems, fuzzy control, soft computing, smart sensors, information fusion, modeling, and simulation. She is a member of EUSFLAT, SIAM, and a member of TC-Fuzzy Systems (IEEE CIS), a member of TC-Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), a member in TC-Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS). From 2005 to 2016, she served as the General Chair for the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications (SOFA), in seven editions, held at Romania and Hungary. She participated in many international conferences as an Organizer, the Honorary Chair, the Session Chair, and a member of steering, advisory or international program committees. She was the past Vice-President (Awards) of IFSA International Fuzzy Systems Association Council, from 2013 to 2015, and is currently a Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM). ![]() | Professor Chun-Yi Su IEEE Senior Member, RAS Distinguished Lectuer, Concordia University, Canada Chun-Yi Su (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in control engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangdong, China, in 1990.,After a seven-year stint with the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, Canada, he joined Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1998, where he is currently a Professor of mechanical and industrial engineering and holds the Concordia University Research Chair in Control. He has also held several short-time visiting positions, including the Chang Jiang Chair Professorship by China’s Ministry of Education and JSPS Invitation Fellowship from Japan. He has authored or coauthored over 300 publications, which have appeared in journals, as book chapters and in conference proceedings. His research covers control theory and its applications to various mechanical systems, with a recent focus on control of systems involving hysteresis nonlinearities.,Prof. Su has served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control and the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology. ![]() | Professor Lounis Adouane IEEE RAS Member, Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), France Lounis Adouane (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in automatic control from the FEMTO-ST Laboratory, ENSMM, France, in 2005, and the H.D.R. (habilitation to steer research in robotics) degree from Blaise Pascal University, in 2015. During his Ph.D. studies, he deeply investigated the field of mobile multi robot systems, especially those related to bottom-up and decentralized control architectures. In 2005, he joined the Ampere Laboratory, INSA Lyon, and he studied hybrid (continuous/discrete) control architectures applied to cooperative mobile robots arms. From 2006 to 2019, he was an Associate Professor with the Institut Pascal, Polytech Clermont-Ferrand. He is currently a Full Professor with the Heudiasyc, UMR 7253 CNRS/Universite de Technologie de Compiegne. From 2018 to 2019, he was the Head of ISPR Group (Images, Perception Systems and Robotics, 80 members), Institut Pascal. Since 2018, he is a member of the Technical Committee of IFAC–Intelligent Autonomous Vehicles and serves in the Editorial Board Member of Journal of Intelligent and Robotic Systems. He had the opportunity to visit during few months several institutions/laboratories, such as in 2009 LIST (Luxembourg), in 2014 Cranfield and Kingston universities (U.K), and in 2018 KIT (Germany). He is the author/coauthor of more than 100 refereed international articles and two books. His main research interests include planning and control of mobile robots/intelligent vehicles (autonomous and clean), decision-making under uncertainty, hybrid (continuous/discrete) and hybrid (reactive/cognitive) multi controller architectures, Lyapunov-based synthesis and stability, cooperative multi robot systems, artificial intelligence (e.g., MDP or MAS approaches), and energy management (e.g., optimal control or neuro-fuzzy approaches). |

Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). She also has industry experiences where she worked as an IT Officer for the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM). She had experienced more than 20 years in the IT field. She received a PhD in Visual Informatics (UKM), a Master Science degree in IT (UiTM) and graduated Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in E-Commerce from UMS. Professor Wenpeng Lu Qilu University of Technology, China Lu Wenpeng, Ph.D., received a Bachelor of Science degree in Educational Technology from Shandong Normal University in June 2002, a Master of Science degree in Educational Technology from Shandong Normal University in June 2005, and a Doctor of Engineering degree in Computer Application Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology in June 2014. From October 2016 to October 2017, he visited the Institute of Advanced Analytics, University of Technology, Sydney to conduct research. He presided over 1 national natural science youth fund project, 1 sub-project of national key research and development plan, 1 project of industry-university cooperation and collaborative education project of the Ministry of Education, 1 project of science and technology plan of Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and 2 horizontal projects. As a major member, he participated in 1 national key basic research development plan ( 973 project ), 1 key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and 5 other fund projects. Assoc. Professor Shanshan Feng Shandong Normal University, China Feng Shanshan, Associate Professor and Master Supervisor of School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong Normal University. In 2017, he graduated from the Department of Computer Science, School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and received a doctorate in computer science and technology. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan from July 2019 to July 2020. It is mainly engaged in the research of recommendation system, automatic question answering system, machine learning, representation learning, natural language processing and other fields, including : personalized recommendation considering data bias, sequence recommendation, cross-domain recommendation ; interest representation, modeling and recommendation of temporary user groups ; the application and innovation of text analysis technology in automatic question answering system. It is currently hosting two national cooperation projects, one international exchange plan project, and one natural surface project in Shandong Province.
